Mott Street BC II

Chinatown is a great destination for visitors and shoppers when on holiday in NYC.  Mott Street is one of the main streets off Chinatown’s famed Canal Street.  This painting depicts shoppers bargaining over a “genuine” designer purse or watch.  Some such transactions are not done out in the open like this one but are done in a back alley guarded by the vendor’s accomplices.  This scene plays into my sense of people places and things.  While I did not “shop” in Chinatown, I did catch a “keeper” in this painting.  In fact, so did one of my gracious collectors because they decided to keep the painting for their collection.

Ted has issued a limited edition of this painting as Giclée reproductions. The reproductions are created using archival inks and paper. The image size is 14 x 21 (the same size as the original) painting. Each piece in the edition is numbered and signed by Ted. Each is expertly framed ready to hang in office or home.
