30 Rockefeller Plaza is the address attributed to Rockefeller Center. The large sculpture that greets visitors at the building entrance is Atlas, the Greek
Titan, holding the heavens. To many it is a symbol of strength and determination. To me it is a thing of beauty that speaks to my artistic side. I am drawn to it and I photographed it from many perspectives, – underneath, both sides, from behind. My favorite view is the one represented by this painting. This view is the one from across 5th Avenue in front of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. To me, this painting IS 30 Rock.
